You can go on the internet with the regular black and white Nook too, but it's kind of slow. The page turn thing is instantaneous and I haven't even noticed it. The e-ink display looks like a real book. I also just found out that with the Nook, you can borrow books from the library for free. Now to just find someone who will let me use their NY Public library # since they have a tremendous e-book collection...

The e-ink is definitely superior to a LED screen for reading, but it's a tradeoff; you can't really use it for anything else besides reading. That's why even though I am planning on getting an iPad (I wanna see if new ones are introduced first), I'll keep my Kindle close at hand as well.
