Did you ever get your picture taken at a Sears Portrait Studio as a kid, with your family? It was always bedlam. The backgrounds they used were hilariously cheesy. I always think about the scene in "Bachelor Party" where the baby photographer puts antennae on the kid and calls him "Baby Jedi".

I always expected the photographer to snap.

we had those taken when I was six, and those pictures stayed on my parents wall for 13 years. the olny read they came down was because they sold the house.

Thankfully my mother didn't put them back up in her new house.

Awful, just awful. Very funny though, my sister has one on her wall, you can tell just by looking they knew it was a mistake as it was happening. My niece looks like someones pointing a gun at her!

Here comes the obligatory Directors' shot...EGOMANIAC!!

Experiencing the SPS phenonema several times,I've often wondered if these people were photographers in training or just pulled from housewares for the day because "Ansel Adams" called in sick.

I have many stories...Many of which are not appropriate around the time that people might be eating food.
