They were great!
From "Shaft" and "Superfly" to "Blacula" and "Cleopatra Jones", these films rocked.
Any other fans out there?

got to go with Cleopatra Jones.
Anyone remember Cleopatra Swartz? It was a sketch in Kentucky Fried Movie. Good spoof on Blackploitation films.

I love these films. They always had the best soundtracks.

The classic "Three the hardway", in which Nazis plan to put poisin in the water supply that only kils black people. But of course you can't bring up blaxpoitation without mentioning the likes of "Black Ceasar", "Truck Turner", "Slaugter" "Petey Wheatstray", "Disco Godather" I could go on and on.

Anything done by Gordon Parks is respected by me like The Learning Tree and Shaft.
He started the whole genre of Blaxploitation films.

This almost qualifies as Blaxploitation, the James Bond flick, Live and Let Die. Had some Blaxploitation elements to it.
