My partner and I had to install a Fiber optic feed to a cell phone tower today in the Manhasset area,,and when we got there this is what we saw;

This monster is about 100 feet taller than the tallest tree in the area, normally cell towers are just plain poles, but since this is a pretty rich area I gues the townsfolk thought it would be best to camouflage it,,,,I guess they were wrong, this thing smacks you in the face every time you look up!
has anyone else seen one of these 250foot Giant Long Island Sequioas yet?

that kinda looks like the tool snuka's mom uses to clean out her meat flap fly trap every night.

but yes, I've seen that before. There's a couple of them in Jersey. One is right of the GSP in Central Jersey.

there is actually one of those near my parents' house. if you take the parkway, its right after exit 135 (going south) its right on the side of the road at the closed rest-stop on the north-bound side.. lucent put it there i think a year or two ago

It looks like a Disney prop gone awry...I would rather just look at the plain ole ugly cell tower cite than that attempt to be a wolf wearing lambs clothes...

There a big cell tower in my town that looks like a tree but the one in ym town loks more liek a real tree
