just a lil inane poem type thing

i dont even know if you can call this a poem, just some thoughts i wrote down last night while i couldnt fall asleep

Sleepless Night

Everyone is asleep yet I am awake, thinking about you

Are you sleeping or are you somewhere thinking about me too

Finding someone like you doesn't happen too often, but finding someone like you that has the same feelings can happen once in a lifetime

As I look up into the starry night, I want to grab a star just for you

I wonder if my feelings for you are even worth having, do you want to give me the stars?

If i could, I'd give you the world but all I can give is my love, if you want it

I want to look into your eyes and tell you the words you've never heard

The minutes, the hours, the miles can't change the way I feel

I'd go anywhere to show you how I feel, I'd do anything

If you love me, I want to hear the words because I love you too

Don't be afraid, all I want is to give you my heart

If given the chance, I would show you just what love is

Look inside your heart, do you see me? I see you in mine

Are you still there? Or did you walk out on my love?

My love is like the ocean and my heart is the boat you can sail across it upon, your love is the only ticket.

Are you ready to cross the ocean?

I know you're there, you might be scared but I am here to show you the way

Do you feel the way I think you do? I need to know to end my sleepless night thinking of you

I might have shared it with you guys before but
made some edits. im not sure- but here goes:

She puts her eyeliner on the table
They wouldnt ask for it anymore
No more stories or lies or fables
she just needs to walk out the door

he was gone and he didnt know
he closed the door to the inside
he just had to let it show
thats all

he could be your hero if he wanted to
but dont ever give him his wings
