Remember "Click Clacks", or whatever you called them as a kid?
Af first, they would shatter and blind kids, so they made them out of a harder type of plastic. Then you would hear stories about how kids used them for fights, or how some schools banned them. I say bring them back!

We knew them as Ka-banger, I think that was the brand name. I think they were made by Tyco. Remember they even made glow in the dark Ka-Bangers. Also I recall people had broken their wrists with those things, but I think that may have been an urban myth.
Spreading nasal joy like I was johnny appleseed or maybe its because I keep hacking up grannie smiths.... chewy, gooey fun.

I saw a neighbor's kid playing with them yesterday.
I think the kid is a bit slow, he was smashing himself in the face. I had to show him how to do it right. I think I found my calling in life.

I was gonna bust these things, but then I got to thinking, there's NO MORE 99 cent toys like that anymore. NOw it's all Gameboy this and Harry Potter action figures that.
I changed my mind in mid thought. BRING EM' BACK!
Today's kids are spoiled! I used to get HOURS of playtime out of the SAME box of Legos! And army men! SO FUCKING CHEAP, but a different mission everyday!
Also I must admit, I never got the hang of these Click Clack things. That's why I need one, so I can learn!

I remember them as Kabangers. They were also re-released as Crazy Clackers. I was never good at them. But you used to need an arm protecter when you played with them.

In Michigan we called them
click clacks. My best friend's
brother smashed her in the
eye with one and broke her
cheekbone. My mom
wouldn't let us have them.
Does anyone remember
the Op-Yop? I think that's
what it was called. It was 2
discs on a string and you'd
pull the string with both
hands and they would twirl
around and they had a 60's
psychaledic design on the
sides? Maybe it was just a
lame ass midwestern toy.

I had a set of click clacks too. They were great and very inspiring when trying to come up with new weapons.
I also had this weird toy that consisted of a handle that had two thick metal wires extending from the handle and then bending in a curve to bring it back toward the handle. You took this wheel that had metal prongs coming out of each side and placed it on the wire "track" and the wheel moved along it without falling off.
Horrible description of it I know, but it was fun for a simple mind like mine. You just sat there turning your hand slightly and watching the spinning wheel do it's thing. Maybe it was designed for older kids who partook of certain substances before playing with it, but I liked it.

I remember good old Click Clacks. Most schools banned them because of the splinters flying off of them.
How about the good ole' Mattel Agent Zero Sonic Blaster? You could blow out ear drums with that baby.
Lawn darts--ah, the good old days.
Hell, when I was 10, I remember legally buying two sticks of TNT at the local hardware store in North Jersey. All the store owner wanted to know was why I wanted them. I told him my dad need to blow up a tree stump in the backyard (which was the truth).
