John Rocker makes movie debut as killer
Staff report
John Rocker has filmed his first acting role -- as a homicidal killer.
"The Greenskeeper's" Web site doesn't mention a release date -- or when the flick might make its way to the video stores.
Here's how it describes the plot, with Rocker (now a Texas Ranger), listed as the title character.
"Allen is a twenty-year-old assistant greenskeeper at the Summerisle Country Club. He has grown disenchanted with the country club life, his girlfriend and people in general. He decides to make some drastic life changes in his otherwise banal existence. Before he reforms he is talked into one last blow out for his birthday. So, he and his friends decide to sneak into the country club after hours to celebrate. Little do they know, their party will serve as a feeding frenzy for a crazed madman. A killer dressed as a golf course greenskeeper shows up to wreak havoc on the promiscuous teens. Having access to golf course tools, The Greenskeeper both frightfully and creatively disposes of our partygoers. It's up to someone to not only figure out the identity of the killer, but to stop a country club massacre."
Rocker became nationally notorious after that infamous Sports Illustrated interview, in which he complained about minorities, gays and New York City.
His Broadway debut still seems unlikely.

I'm looking down your blouse right now and you don't even know it.
