My cable went out tonight and after that first initial feeling of terror, i was relieved to see it come back on. So it got me thinking...
How long could you survive without your tv...and do you think you have a dependence on it for entertainment?

I need it for wrestling, sports and the news. I wonder what the world would be like if TV was never invented, I guess we wouldn't have the computer either.

I need my TV for 2 hours on Monday night... and every month I need it for about 4 hours on Sunday night... maybe 5 hours.
I only watch wrestling and the Sopranos.

That sums up my response perfectly, thanks CovDiesel.

i've been thinking about it and FUCK tv. the thing is it's the first couple of days without it that might be the problem. If you could survive without it, get over the withdrawal period then you're probably good to go.

Some retard who was working on my roof yesterday cut the cable to my satellite. I'll have no tv until tomorrow at best. I was foaming at the mouth last night....

My cable went out for a couple weeks, and I found out that.....I....I really didn't need my TV that much.
Worst yet, I started - gasp! - reading books!
Well, I'm glad I have my TV back now so that I can safely become a complete moron again.
I suckle at the Glass Teat.
