I can remember mother, making me wear those g damn gold colored corduroys in the winter. And hearing that awful swishing noise they made when walking to school. Though I would complain to high heaven about having to wear them, she would say its cold outside and these would keep you warmer then your jeans. YEAH your legs got warmer because the corduroy would rub together and give you friction burn. I swear to this day, wearing corduroy pants made my legs less hairy then the should be in certain spots!
Spreading nasal joy like I was johnny appleseed or maybe its because I keep hacking up grannie smiths.... chewy, gooey fun.

Always like corduroy growing up, it was warm and comfortable...
Plenty of swish though, I don't have any bow in my legs...

The good thing was that you generate alot of static electricity with those corduroy. I would spend hours chasing people at school giving them the static elec shock!

i personally never minded the corduroy when i was younger. and now you can catch me wearing corduroy at least 3 or 4 days a week... it's one of the most fun things going. they're soft and warm and swishy. i have like 5 or 6 different colors...

Eeeew. You admit to liking corduroy. You sick thing. I guess the difference was that when I grew up jeans were king. If you caught wearing anything to the contrary, ostracism.

And what kind of shirt goes with corduroy, I believe it was a velour(spelling) sweater that went with my gold color corduroy. Geez
