Dude, when I was in County College, I used to go home and watch that and Law & Order reuns back to back while I macked out eating lunch. It was a really original show. I loved it.

I am a big "Ed" fan. Actually the characters were great, and the writing was excellent.
I wish they had a reunion show! I really miss that show.

That was a great show. Just plain awesome. One of the few "quirky" shows that was good after Twin Peaks made it cool to be quirky.

I feel the same way about "Ed" Heckler. It's got a similar quirkiness and attitude to it :)

It's one of those shows you tend to forget about until someone reminds you of it, and then you remember just how much you liked it. I was a fan, and always thought Janine Turner was adorable. Anybody seen her lately?

One of TVs great shows. David Chase at his best. It's a shame that it's gone. Jumped the shark when Joel walked into the trees, though.

this is one of the shows that inspired me to keep on with my writing when during the many times when i thought to pack it in. I just loved the characters so much, and i wanted to be able to create people like that.
thank you! thank you mr. Sheik!-- er-- Northern Exposure!

Great work Gina! My favorite Ed memories:
Throwing a dinner party while housesitting for Maurice.
Crying to Maurice when he quit his job with him.
Dancing with RuthAnn on her grave.
Throwing the tomato at Fleischman.
Making his film, starring the townspeople. Brilliant.
Dating "Little Feather".
His letter writing and letters received by famous film directors.
There are many, and he is just one character! What a show!

If only I knew. Drugs are like color tv, but you can't take your brain to the shop! ;)
