I like some rap like Outkast, A Tribe Called Quest, The Roots, Im not too particular. I really will listen to anything as long as its good, although I have to say that I haven't been really impressed with any of the rap & hip-hop artists that have come out lately, I dunno why, but it all just seems very commercial to me.

Rap has fall so hard over the last couple of years... biggie was great, tupac awesome but they are dead....Jay-z gets played on z100(smart business move) and the fact that any record company will give someone a rap deal is getting really annoying...cash money suck so much.. Master P blows...DMX is good... but over all the music that rappers have been making lately just sucks..

I'm not a hugefan, but I listen to almost every type of music. I like rap groups that are origin and have their own style...ie...Wu- Tang Clan (members seperately and together), Dmx and Outkast to name a few.

Ps..I'm glad BIG is dead..drug dealing piece of crap. Good riddens.

I'm a big fan of old school rap. I used to go to all of the shows back in the day.

RUN DMC, Boogie Down Productions, Public Enemy, Eric B. & Rakim, EPMD, Tribe Called Quest, L.L., Stetsasonic....

There's still groups that I like today, but not too many.

Outkast, Wu-tang, 2Pac, DMX, Biggie.... but they just don't compare.

i listen to a lot of rap. i think the last rap album i bought was flesh of my flesh....but since i got into djing (kids parties, not spinning :( ) i have to listen to the newer stuff and its not so bad...life after death is still my favorite all time
