I figured I would start this thread since there are so many dumb lyrics out there to songs, and one caught my ears this morning as I was getting ready for class. Remember that Cornershop song a few years ago. The line goes::
Brim full of asher on the 45
What the hell does that mean?
Other ones are...

I like the color purple macaroni and cheese, ruby red slippers and a bunch of trees.
I am sure there are dozens more.
Dumb Donald was so dumb. Instead of praying to God at church, he prays to... <img src = "http://members.aol.com/jimandbryan/myhomepage/rnfbigjim.jpg?mtbrand=AOL_US"> Thank you Jersey Rich for this sig!SEEEEEYUH!!

This is kinda related because it's the stupidest line I've ever heard, and a personal peeve: From "Live and Let Die," the line...
"...in this ever changing world in which we live in..."
I know: poetic license. But very time I hear it, I get the grammar cringes.

George Thorogood,
If i'm hearing it right?
His line is "when I drink alone, I prefer to be by myself"
I say, "Is there much choice"

The entire lyrics to "I am the Walrus" are non-sensical alone. Complete non-sequitur babble. Yet still has meaning, if you can find it.
Perfect nonsense.

Thank You Jim for bringing this up... I have a couple LFO songs on my computer that I downloaded specifically because their lyrics are so inane that I laugh my ass off every time I hear them...
"Fell deep in love, but now we ain't speaking, Michael J. Fox was Alex P. Keaton." However, my all-time favorite nonsensical band is Beastie Boys. Topping the list of their retarded lyrics has to be "For real, not phony, O.E. and Rice-a-Roni."

darkhippie stole my line...I love Nirvana but that one always threw me...
The problem with LFO is that Perlman let them write their own lyrics and swayed from the Backstreet/NSYNC formula.

I'm a big fan of myself, but I got to say from the song Texas Radio and the Big Beat:
"Forest of Azure"
What the hell is that. And later on:
"Out here we is stoned, immaculate"
No signature everyone my age does it

I may be in a minority here, but I'd have to say every song by System of a Down.
I like their music, and I understand that they're supposed to be discussing many different important social and / or political issues, but when I listen to a song like "Chop Suey" I just don't know that the hell they're talking about.
