there was this really old show that I remember that used to air at the ungodly hour of 5 or 6 am on CBS channel 2 in the NYC market called the Patchwork Family. I even remember the theme song, and it had some chick and a puppet, and puzzles and excersize and some dude who taught music and sing a long songs....anyone else remember this odd show? I must have been maybe 3 or 4 years old, but the memories are still strong to this...must have been back around 1983 or 84.

*singing*... We'd like to have you as a member of the Patchwork Family.....
I remember that show man. I think it was around in the late 70's. I could be wrong though. I kind of remember there being one main puppet that was on the show. I can only picture him as Yellow. The details are sketchy after that. They used to have all of the stuff you said. There'd be puzzles, painting and animals too. I have this real clear thought in my head about the first time I saw an Armadillo . It was on that show. I was amazed at how it rolled up in a ball when it felt threatened.
Anyone else?

There is nothing more exhilerating than pointing out
the shortcomings of others, is there?

We have sisters and brothers and all sorts of otherse..
Like neices nephews uncles cousins we get members by the dozens..
Its certified and stated that everyones related in the Patchwork Family...
Anyone? Anyone?
Oh, and TomPoo, what led me to become gay was the fact that I was on Steampipe Alley when I was 10 years old and was sexually harassed by Mario Cantone (I have the video to prove this)

wonderama was the show everyone wanted to be on when I was a kid.
I think the host was Bob McCallister.
We want Ron and Fez live in DC.
