I am obsessed with candles ... I have over 30 of them. My favorite one is a Yankee Candle in Hazelnut Coffee.

I wanted to know if guys have candles? Or is it a "girly" thing?

Seriousy I think candles are cool, my wife and I have alot of them around. We typically only get to light the ones around the hot tub though owing to 1) 2 young kids and 2) 1 not-so-smart dog. But, we (both her and I) do like to use them for mood-setting.

As long as it's in a glass jar and on the stove...
It stinks at first when you light a match, that sulphur smell is crappy...

I also am big on indoor waterfalls and just about anything intent to soothe.

I fucking love Yankee Candles! I have an obsession with them! Poot bought 15 of them for me on christmas. My fav is Chocolate Truffle. It's aroma is equivalent to the air after you've cooked brownies! I just want to eat the air, it's so good!

I prefer candles to incandescent/florescent lighting because it's easier on the eyes.

i have a couple of "funky" lights, which arent hard on the eye, they're kinda pretty. but i love yankee candles! Sunflower, raspberry, buttercream and warm apple crisp are my favorites. jon picks me up some really cool ones, too

I love candles! They relax me after a stressful day. There is just enough light to see and darkness to relax and just meditate.

I love small candle votives with eucalyptus, lavendar and vanilla ...anything that is soothing and subtle. (placed in safe spots, so I don't knock them over. The entire effect is ruined if you keep a fire extinguisher nearby! )
At Christmas I love any Pine scented candles..(I keep cinnamon and pine-scented sachets in my sock / lingerie drawers).

I know some of you you must love incense, but I never got into that..( patchouli, sandalwood... Too overwhelming, and smoky for me )

I dig candles too, but it's tough to find good ones that aren't too expensive. I usually stick to the Glade kind, and Mountain Berry is my fav. smell.

Im all about yankee candle mcintosh apple. Yummy it smells so good I buy the candle scents for the car.
