WNEW was channel 5.
WRKO was WOR, which is channel 9. As for Dumont, it was an original TV network from way back, made famous by "The Honeymooners". I worked with many "old timers" who started out in the industry at Dumont. They all had fond memories of the old days.

"Bowling For Dollars" was on WOR, channel 9, along with the "Million Dollar Movie".
Channel 5 became WNYW after it was WNEW.
Channel 8 was an ABC affiliate in Connecticut, possibly Waterbury?
