See, what I don't understand is why the other judges, besides the French one, aren't getting suspended!!! They're the ones that "coerced" her, so why are they getting away with it?! Why are they being allowed to judge the ice dancing anyway?! And even more, why do I even care?

i havent heard the full story about this yet...did they get an additional medal to whoever it was that got the intial gold? thats freakin obsurd. and its another reason on the long list of reasons that i dont care

curling, on the other hand, looks pretty fun. they should add darts and pool and maybe asshole to the olymics though if theyre going to keep it

I think it's lame that they will be "sharing gold medals". There are no ties in the Olympics, the way they did this is lame.

RonFezMark, I have to agree about the Canadians and the Gold Medal...But it does seem screwed up to share ..

As for the Curling ....I watched it too. SCTV did a really funny sketch about this sport, with John Candy as the commentator, screaming, "Sweep!!! Sweep!!!", with the same intensity you'd find at a Hockey game. Pretty funny.
Maybe it would be more interesting if the Curling team had Cheerleaders!;)

Elle Quinn, I have nothing against the French skaters themsleves but they really didn't deserve to have the gold anyway. Give them the silver and then al is right with the world.

the french won, there should be no changing that. i didnt see the competition, and it doesnt matter. they got their score, wether they deserved it or not. there are people that get screwed because of the order they go in such as the same run in skating or snowboarding by someone who goes first will be scored lower than the person that goes last. it sucks, but thats the way it is. ties, reversals...its all bullshit. the ancient greeks would spit on these people

How does curling work? What does the sweeping do? Smooth out the ice so it goes further? Is it based solely on sweeping ability? Perhaps we should have more mexicans representing our country, then...
