Styx always made me cringe, along with REO Speedwagon. I once went along with a friend to see Styx at MSG(free tick) and I actually left him there after 20 minutes. I also hated Yes, which was shocking to many. I hated Jon Anderson's voice, I always wanted to punch him in the face. Thank God punk came around in the mid 70's to save us!

Nothing can make me dive for the radio faster than hearing the opening strains of a Yes or Pink Floyd song. YUCK! I guess I was never that mellow. I also despise Styx and REO Speedwagon and all those other ballad making machines. Just awful.

Bands I couldn't stand were, Styx, REO Speedwaon, Supertramp, Jefferson Starship (although I liked Jefferson Airplane), and Rod Stewart.

The Eagles are overrated(except for Victim of Love, kickass song) I never thought ABBA, Styx, Reo Speedwagon were ever considerd classic rock bands. As for my choice, I've never liked Jethro Tull, and Steve Miller is bubblegum classic rock.

You're killing me - three of my faves! Also, whoever said Lynurd Skynyrd, they are way underrated - well, at least up in the North.

Actually, I think I have fairly good taste in music. I can listen to almost anything nowadays. I just never got into those bands I mentioned before. While everyone else was listening to The Allman Brothers and U2, I was listening to hard core and ska.
