Let's face it, when you post on a messageboard people see text only, no intonations, no sense of how you want your words to come across. However, we all probably have a sense of how our posts are read from our point of view. what i'm asking is, how do you consider your posting voice generally.

i've noticed that at times, my sarcasim doesn't come across. but generally i "speak" in a normal voice.

a majority of the time what i say is a joke or pure sarcasism. But if there is something i don't like, you can easily tell when im pissed and im not joking.

I believe my voice is clear when i post, i pretty much joke around so i include the smiley face. I'm hoping that's what the smiley face is there for... I also tell stories about my past, they have all been sincere regardless of their content.
Sometimes I preach a bit and try to express what I believe to be the right thing. I'm a bit older than most(i think) and it truly troubles me to see some young people having some difficulties emotionally and with their self confidence. Just trying to let them know to keep their chin up...
To sum it up, and I was thinking about having this under my name, I'm trying to be the Voice Of Reason... along with having a Good Time

9 times out of 10, I have my tongue firmly planted in my cheek when I post, and sometimes I even make myself chuckle with what I write. I do wonder from time to time if everyone else is getting the joke, too.
