What the hell happened? A few weeks ago everyone was all happy and superfriendly to each other, and now there is all this infighting crap going on. Take it off the board, I'm sick of reading about it and its just creating a BAD VIBE.

Honestly, when somebody replies to something I say, and I'm not allowed to give a response before it gets locked, I feel that's a bit unfair. In an open forum people DON'T have to agree all the time. If two people disagree, and can reply back and forth making intelligent statements defending their position, a thread should'nt be deleted. That was just bullshit. But, I'll know my role and let it go.

Please refer to the FAQ section of this message board...fighting will not be tolerated in any form. And starting another thread after one has been locked specifically to instigate yet another fight WILL NOT BE TOLERATED EITHER. Sunny, I know what you're saying, and I agree. But, one person responding to another person's comments is what makes a message board a message board! I don't know reeshy from a hole in the wall, and anything "personal" I might have said in my reply was based on how he responded to me, in a childish fashion. I have every right to reply to a statement directed towards me, otherwise my thoughts are being censored.
And, reeshy, if you think any word that you could possibly type would ever hurt my feelings, you give yourself too much credit.

I don't know furie, but I am honestly thinking of forming a team and giving it a go. How about it? The RF.net Olympic Curling team? I saw the US team taking on the Canadian team last night and it disgusted me. The "Star" player for the canadians, this guy named Kevin Martin, had to be in his mid-40's with the worlds worst comb over. I know I could do this "sport".
Does anyone have a couple of 42 pound stones and brooms I can borrow?

IrishAlkey, I understand your point, and I agree with you. You should have the right to reply to a statement directed at you, and to avoid censorship. That's how things should work in a democratic society. But you are confusing RONFEZ.Net with a democratic society, which it is not. There are strict rules against fighting, and while you may disagree with the locking of a thread before you can reply, that's still board policy. It won't be tolerated. There have been enough problems on other boards as well as this one to support this strict policy, and that's what makes this message board what it is. A place where people can post without having to deal with the sort of negativity that comes with fighting.
Furthermore, while your case would have decent merit in the real world, you basically threw out any sort of respect for it(your argument) by posting again after I locked your post and trying to continue the locked thread, and instigating a fight in that one. That negates any sort of point you could have made, but either way, both points mean nothing in terms of the message board rules.if you had/have a problem with someone, leave it off the message board and deal with it over IM's or email. And if you have a problem with a thread being locked, feel free to IM/email the person who locked it, and/or any other staff member for clarification.
Fighting of any kind won't be tolerated. And moderators/admins DON'T HAVE TO EXPLAIN THEMSELVES (on the board specifically) to any member like I just have, either. I just hope that doing so clarifies things for all members and shows that there is a concerted effort on the message board to keep it a negative-free place. B/c honestly, who needs that.
Listen, I have nothing against you IrishAlkey, but that's just the way it is in this crazy world we call Ronfez.net. Fighting won't be tolerated IN ANY FORM on this message board, because dealing with it is a major pain in the ass. The policy is a good one.
Now I need a nap.

Basically, a number of people from this board know me persoanlly, and know I'm the last person to start any shit. I felt I needed to defend my position, and I appreciate the time you took in explaining some things. Again, that thread I started with my response wasn't meant to instigate, rather to respond to a statement. However, if I were on the outside looking in, I would dissaprove of doing that as well. Hell, I've ripped people a new asshole for doing the exact same shit. Just realize my actions were not meant to disturb the board in any way.
