I would have to say that there is no greater cartoon character than Bugs. Seeing him on a stamp warmed my heart, Bugs is the greatest.
Too bad Warner Brothers cut out the "insensitive and violent" scenes when you watch them today.

Bugs is far and away the greatest wise ass in the history of television, and still cracks me up to this day. What an amazing character, and what awesome talent the creative team behind him had.

Nothing today can even touch the old Looney Tunes as far as intelligence, imagination, and humor. Probably nothing ever will.

Bugs was also a great propaganda weapon in WWII. He starred in a cartoon entitled "Bugs Bunny nips the nips". Classic to hear Bugs say terms like "slant eyes, and zipperhead". So wrong and yet so great considering the PC age...

Loved Bugs,

Especially the ones with Witch and her flying bobpins

The Monster " if you bring me the rabbit I will gladly repay you with a spider goulash" "my, look at them nails"

The vampire "I'm a bat" then bugs goes "hokus pokus" LOL
Wasn't that the goofiest looking bat?

:)

"I wanna easter egg!"
" here comes the easter bunny hooray, the happy easter bunny hooray."
That has to be one the best ones. Anything with Yosemite Sam was the best. Like the gunfights they would have " draw a gun" And the viking and arab, and civil war toons were the best!
"when I says woah , I mean woah! dragons(camels) are so stupid."
Even the yosemite sam as the pirate were a gas

If you get the chance, check out the WWII propaganda cartoons when Bugs takes on the Germans and The Japs. Hilarious!

I did find Bugs Bunny attractive when he put on make up and dressed up as a girl bunny... I stink.

Best Bugs comeback: (to guess who?)

"I'm sorry, Mac, the lady of the house ain't home and besides, we mailed you people a check last week!"

I remember the nips cartoon, when Bugs was handing out bombs to the Japs....

God, I wish I could find the old propaganda toons, because I loved them. NOTHING is funnier than watching your most beloved children's cartoon character spew politically incorrect insults and rhetoric.
