WWA PPV Card

I know a lot of you guys panned the first WWA PPV (but let's be honest, it was originally booked by Vince Russo, and later his crony Jeremy Borash, and EVERYTHING that Russo touches he taints with his evil), but IMO, the card for the live WWA PPV on Feb. 24th looks pretty good. Here's the lineup:

Cruiserweight Survival Match
-Participants: AJ Styles, Tony Mamaluke, Shark Boy, Low Ki, Chris Daniels, Nova
(This should be great, since you've got a collection of some of the best cruiserweights in the indys today, including AJ Styles, who's fantastic, and Low Ki, who is unbelievable.)

Devon Storm vs. Sabu
(This might be a good gargabe / spotfest match, IF Sabu shows up to work (and NOT in the "Scott Hall" way) and can hit his spots)

Juventud Guerrera vs. Eddy Guerrero vs. Psicosis
(This should be really good as well. I mean, it's EDDY for chrissakes!)

Disco Inferno vs. Brian Christopher
(If they work a comedy match, this could be fun.)

Also expected to appear on the PPV in some capacity: Bret Hart, Randy Savage, Jeff Jarrett, Scott Steiner, The Road Dogg, and others.
(This is a bit hot n' cold. I mean, let's go over that list of names: You have a bitter ex-wrestler, a has-been, an actually talented guy, a MONSTER (who will probably sign with the WWF immediately after this match), and a washed-up drug addict who will probably soon eclipse Jake Roberts.)

Overall, I think that on paper it's a pretty solid card. I'll probably be willing to blow 20 bucks or so on this....right now I want ANYTHING other than the WWF, and this should do nicely.

Anybody else have any thoughts?

The only of those matches I really want to see is the first one. and that is just for Low ki and Nova.

well if Jeff Jarret is in any match you know he's winning. That egotistical piece of trash. Why would any man that doesnt know how to play a guitar make it part of his gimmick is beyond me.

The only thing i liked in the last WWA PPV was "The Front Row" that guy was massive.

Do you think Road Dogg will come to the match high or will he wait till after the match?

I saw Low Ki wrestle at an independent show in Weschester and he stole the show. That match will be the best one on the show with the talent they have. However, it will take a lot more than that to make me want to spend another 20.00 on it. I can just wait until the wrestling store near my house has the tape to rent and watch it then.

Hey, PPV is tonight, and it should be pretty good...I jus hope the production value is a little better than the last one...

Devon Storn vs. Sabu could be incredible, Juventud/Psicosis/Guerrero is unreal, and the lightweight opener are all the biggies for me...but I hate Scott Steiner...I really hope he never gets to the WWF, 'cause he's such a waste of space.

Jerry Lynn was released by the WWF this weekend and appeared at the WWA pay-per-view last night and attacked Eddie Guerrero.

Lynn never really got a chance in the WWF, his first TV match he won the Light HeavyWeight Title then the WWF did nothing with him. It sucks.

Lynn very quickly became my favorite wrestler, (and not just because his ECW entrance music was Fear Factory, but it helped) it's a shame that wwf has no idea how to use guys like him....
The PPV blew, I may review it in a new thread later if someone doesn't beat me to it (hint, hint)

The only matches that had my intrest was the lightweight free for all. That match was amazing!

It seems that they do not know how to end the matches. They try to make the matches longer but it just ends up being horrible.
