Pepper mentioned something that sounds very much like this aborted project several times on the show. Maybe that "friend's moving request" over the week-end was all about hiding the swag that got purchased as "R&D equipment" for the project.
At least I hope so.

I don't know, but it sounds like shady dealings all around. Those investors are never getting their money back.

I hope the guy who absconded with the original $100K gets his panties sued off. (Of course he wears panties, those kind always do.)
