I had been re-watching the entire Soprano's series for the first time since it's original run, mainly to be able to relax and enjoy Gandolfini's role. They had just gotten to his separation from Carm, and some of his best performances.

While checking the DVR to make sure the 'hawks game was recording, I noticed that it hadn't recorded the Soprano's tonight, which seemed odd. I little while later, my chick broke the news. I'm guessing HBO ran something else? Or a tribute?

I'm a little embarrassed at how hard this one hit me.

you and me both, I started watching the entire series for the second time a few weeks ago, It had been so long that much of it is new to me, but the role of Tony is played so well that it was hard to not be drawn in all over again. What a great piece of acting and a legacy left by this man.

I usually watch it on the West feed at 11 and last night it was on at 12:30 instead.
