WebMd, the hypochondriac's wet dream turned digital, is notorious for convincing invalid-hopefuls that their pounding headache is actually just a tricky little combination of diabetes and cyanide poisoning. But apparently crippling neuroticism isn't the only negative side effect of our dependence on the site. At least, not for one mother who delayed taking her freshly shot 14-year-old son to the hospital for seven hours because searching WebMD for "gunshot wound" seemed like a good first step. I guarantee that when she found it it ran thru 6 possibilities and ended with cancer. Every fucking thing I've ever looked up on that site ended up with possible cancer. Probably have to cover all bases for legal reasons, but my nose being dry and sore is probably not cancer! I hope.

I tried your link, and it took me to the site (as it should), but when I tried to close the little window and see the article, it insulted me. :glurps:

Did a clear thick liquid eventually come out of your nose? ...Its cancer.
