for you people who are away at school, im just wondering- what do you do for fun in the dorms?
we have nothign to do. we steal furniture from the lounge and put it in handicapped bathrooms, i actually took a few chairs and coffee table and weve kncknamed it 'anna's cafe", my friends stole a couch.

and we videotape all our misadventures- including semi-naked coed twister (boring) and this kid Casey running down the streets of babylong wearing nothing but golashes and a smile...

so what do you do? any ideas?

i dont go away (i commute)to school but i have spent many nights at my friends' dorms and as for fun..well, drinking drinking and more drinking!
that and PS2 :)

and not that anyone cares but instead of making a whole post about it i will just put it here, this is my 300th post! woohoo, horray!
maybe i should go outside tomorrow :P

One of my favorites was going room to room, collecting food. Me and my roommate, when hungry and foodless during freshman and soph. year, always would run out of points on our meal plan, and we didn't want to spend out cash. So we'd just go room to room asking for canned goods, cereal, you name it...mac and cheese was tough to get, but if you tried hard enough, you could get it.

Other times we would just go room to room and talk to the people. Nothing better than that, especially if you were drunk...

We also flooded the girls' and guys bathrooms by pointing all the showers outside the stalls and overflowing the sinks and toilets by stuffing them with toilet paper...of course the water would drain, but we would always hear stories about people slipping in the middle of the night cause they were half hung over.

Also drawing on the faces of drunk passed out people was always fun...

I was never into pulling a fire alarm...always had a fear that we would get caught.

My roommate once stole a fire extinguisher from the next dorm and sprayed it through open windows (with screens) on the first floor of the dorms...

That's all I can think of for now. rearranging furniture is fun to do too, by the way...

This one is usually saved for the last days of the semester. If your dorm is more than 4 floors high, and you can get access to the roof. Get a bunch of people, preferably people who don't think too much... bring up any old furniture you don't want, or other people's. Be sure to bring a stereo, some vodka, and a football with you up to the roof. Now comes the funpart. Using the spirit of cooperation (which we learn at college and in kindergarden, throw each piece of furniture off the roof. Preferably throwing it to the back of the building so as not to injure innocent drunken freshman. I recommend appliances: fridges, tv's, those two are the best as far as noise/shattering value. After you've thrown all the furniture, just hang out up there... listen to good music... throw the football around, or just sit around and get to know these strange people all around you.
PS - If you have a bowling ball then you can follow up by dropping the bowling ball onto the furniture. Obviously, I have two Bachelors degrees.

we used to get drunk and high alot. we'd hang stuff out of windows and paint murals on the walls. I once hung a paper mache penis on a metal statue. . . It was funny at the time.

Yea they are, but bars around colleges usually have some sort of deal where you buy pitchers for a very cheap price. But even if bars aren't feasible, why not go to fraternities?

when i lived in the dorms we'd have water fights with the guys down the hall or play board games with friends. the bars are very cheap, so we'd go out almost every night. i could go out with $5 and come home totally retarded. or we'd just buy a couple of cases and play some drinking games in the dorm. those were the best times of my life

I remember one time when we had to scrape a kid off of the street because he got drunk on the roof of a dorm at Manhattan College. He fell 6 stories right on his face. Be careful on those roofs, Kiddies!!

fiveb...i'd go to karaoke at the bullet. Tuesday was $1.50 pub jugs at the Pub, wednesday was karaoke at the ost. thursday was .25 cent pitchers at the alley from 7-9, the after that they were like a dollar. then fri - sat i was back at the alley, $4 pitchers. ah, the memories ;)

Yeah I know jenny....I used to go to "beat the clock" sometimes too...man, everyone would get so tanked...It was so much fun. And don't forget about all the free frat parties at the beginning of the semesters. Free beer and stuff..yummy.
