Who picked this up? Loving it. It's one of the few games that never disappoints. I did a Fantasy Draft for the Mets. Only in a video game, can I have Trout and Harper both on my team. lol.

Good, good. Let the hate flow through, and your turn to the darkside will be complete!

I bought that. I hate what EA did, but I couldn't help myself.
I'll end up buying the show, but I'll end up being annoyed because they never change the things that annoy me most.

It cant possibly be as bad as the 2k series.

It's a great series, but I have MLB 12 The Show. I buy it every year, there are minor improvements, but there are just certain little things that annoy me about the game (and most sports games).

i find it funny, my problem now in hitting in RTTS is pitches going TOO SLOW.
I played my first game as a position player, I was drafted by St Louis. I went 2-4 with a HR and a BB but when they brought in the slower throwers i hit 2 weak ground outs cause I couldnt make myself wait long enough.
Definately easier to hit in this years game. If they had kept the old guess pitch model, it would be WAYYYY too easy

The team we have down here, the Myrtle Beach Pelicans (no, not the Mermen) are a farm team for the Texas Rangers, who the fuck knows how this happens?
The Dayton Dragons are a farm team for the Reds, only 53 miles away, that makes good sense.

well, they sign a contract with them. So teams bounce around all the time. Maybe the mets didnt like buffalos way of handling guys so they found another open team and that was the only choice, Vegas

Other way around. Buffalo didn't like that the Mets farm team wasn't winning. So, they went with another team. Other minor league clubs either get snatched up or re-signed with their old club, leaving Vegas as the only option for the Mets. But, it may only be a 1-2 year solution. At least, that is what they're hoping.

I can't move up in the lineup! I keep getting the coach saying he'll move me up, I move up to #5 for a game, and it's right back to 8 or 9. What a weird glitch.

well , either way, Kenny Powers got called up from Myrtle Beach to the Rangers, then had a panic attack, ran off the mound and faked his death while driving 1,218 miles back to Wilmington, NC. So I think we can all agree that it's all pretty stupid.

more to do with the blue jays giving a very solid offer for mostly the reason you listed...they needed to be closer and the Las Vegas thing was a HUGE distraction for some players out there. Whenever in a pinch, the Jays could never get a player quick as it's pretty much the same flight/trip from Toronto as it is for the Mets. The Mets probably just filled our void there bc of little options. I blame the Jays in the first place for ever leaving Syracuse to be honest. Never made sense, but this was under the Gord Ash/JP days.
interesting enough, the toronto farm team had almost 20k to their minor league opener last night. mainly due to it being so close to Toronto and Canada for that matter. buf and toronto has a closer relationship than I thought it would seem based on the last few years tied to the Bills too.

yea the distraction thing is a good point. If I ran an org and had a minor league team in Vegas, I would never send anyone there who was over 20. its just bad news. Even playing this stupid game I get distracted thinkin how awesome it would be to play in Vegas
