Pretty amazing so far. 1 thing i find amusing about EA SPORTS, they really know their audience. Madden appeals to a more "urban" crowd, and the soundtrack is mainly hip hop. Soccer is more popular in Europe, they have a more eurotrash dance soundtrack.

Im not sure if EA does this in other countries, but I noticed that the music is REALLY low. Like you almost cant hear the music when you are on a menu unless you have the TV turned up loud enough that the announcers would be yelling at you when you play a game.

I love that they added that roboting british dude to read the scores of the other matches in your league while you are simming through shit.

I also like how much I dominate. My player career guy went through half a season at red bulls where i scored like 20 goals and then demanded a transfer. I ended up at Newcastle where I had 35 league goals and 30 league assists in 1 year.

na i wish, im sure they would for next year. You cant demand more money either, which is why im probably leaving the Castle after 1 year. So far i got offered 90K a week from man u and stupid inter. I wanna go to Ajax dammit.

Basically its like how when you are manager they do transfers. You get an email sayin this team bid for you, here is their offer. I sorta fucked up being so good too, cause now im too expensive for most of the teams i wanna play for, but im still only gettin like 10K a week from newcastle and you cant demand more money either.

All that shit is new this year though, you used to only be able to leave as a FA basically. By next year im sure they will hammer out all those details. The manager career mode is pretty fuckin good now the way they do it.

You will be happy to know i took the starting manager job of NY red bulls to try to start low and build my way up like real life. I won the cup and the title the first year, so I left in december right after the season to take the job at Ajax where I won the dutch league and now am in the next year with ajax in the champs league and shit. I'll prob stay there forever cause if i ever had a job in amsterdam in real life, im sure id never fuckin leave

just make sure if you start a player career, and htey arent playin you alot at your first club, force a loan. your guy cant get better if you arent playingso you have to play early. you start at like 65 or 66 ratings depending on how you set the guy up physically and what position you play, so going to a team in the MLS isnt a bad option cause you would play alot.

Also, a BIG IMPORTANT TIP for anyone playing a player OR manager career in the future, including newport, all of you

because of the sheer amount of teams and players, the game cant go on infinite like football can, cause it runs out of space for guys. So the career modes last 15 seasons. it seems like a shitty thing except, you prob will hardly ever make it and prob be ready to start a new thing by then.

Anyway, if you are into gettin as much time, dont start in a euro league or a league that follows that schedule. The default first year is 2012/2013 and it goes for 14 seasons beyond that. But some leagues, like the MLS, start in the spring and end in winter.

So you can start your career at an MLS team in february of 2012, then use the summer transfer window to move to a team in europe or something and start there at the beginning of the 2012/2013 season and essentially get 15.5 seasons instead of 15

that depends. The problem is, my guy is currently rated 79. If I went to barca, i wouldnt play that much cause all their dudes are rated like 85+ and im a striker.

I could do it cause they play a 4-3-3. I refuse to play on any team that uses a single striker cause the computer AI tries to keep the guy behind me on attacks instead of coming up next to me to give me another option. I hate the 4-4-1-1.

So ill only go to a team with 2 or 3 guys forward, preferably 2 so I can use a little zig zag pass action to work it through the middle. Thats why i didnt sign with Man U. Cause they play a single striker and then rooney always fuckin stands like 30 yards from goal.

Ultimately I would like to go play in the Dutch league, however I think I'm too expensive for most of them now. So ill rock it at Benfica for awhile until i get a nice offer

I stayed with Benfica and won the league and the Euro League. I then led the US to its first ever World Cup victory and ow im gonna rock another year with Benfica i think

no, i was already on benfica making what newcastle was offering to get me back.

when I was on newcastle i was making 10K a week. I make them sell me to Benfica who gave me 60K a week. When newcastle tried to buy me back they only were offering 60K a week, thats why I didnt go back. Man U and Bayern and a few italian clubs keep offering me 90K a week but i dont wanna play for them

they did the same shit to me. its cause you are lower rated than the other guy. You can use your EA FC points to buy ratings boosts for your pro. they are small but they do a bit.

Also, if you choose to play controlling just your guy, its kinda boring but you will get hte full 90. Just hope your dudes arent suckin dick that day.

and you can use the buttons to call for the ball and shit from teammates that are computer controlled

i actually play on the pro angle when i play as the whole team. once you get use to the camera changes guy to guy, it makes the whole game alot easier. even when you play as a full team, try it on pro camera. I think you will like it

the problem with simming is your guy cant earn ratings. I would suggest you try it again, but start on a team with worse strikers. Im currently in may in my new career with Colorado Rapids and ive played every minute of every game except one that was 2 days before another game, and they only subbed me in the 80th minute. If you go to a team that has worse strikers, you will play alot more. playing and accomplishing shit is how you build your guys ratings. the only way.

also the offers are based on what you make. You were making 2K the first contract, thats why your other offers are so low. Once you move and get a raise, the next offers will go up

i dont know what the deal is with the update. But i was still on the Rapids when it happened, and all of a sudden the game got crazy hard and the computer was double pressing guys and making it nearly impossible to have the ball. It also took away my ability to withdraw my transfer request.

However, i took a deal to another team just to see if it changed and it did. It went back to normal. maybe it had something to do with me asking for a transfer made the game harder in the time til i left. It was weird but its not happening anymore

alot of the best teams from other countries are starting to catch up to the english and spanish teams. Genk, Munich/Leverkusen, Anderlecht, some others too. Zenit. Alot of teams now, and in the next few years with FFP comin in, things are gonna level out and the champs league is gonna get alot more wide open. Atletico madrid and atletico bilbao. Sevilla isnt bad, Valencia can be pretty good. Malaga has its years.

Right now Barca has 22 points and so does atletico madrid. Malaga has 17, madrid and sevilla have 14 and real betis and levante have 13.
