Linda sucks

For years WWE has produced programming that is rated PG in primetime, and most recently rated G on Saturday mornings. To better reflect our current family-friendly brand of entertainment, WWE is removing some dated and edgier footage from digital platforms. Some of this footage has been misused in political environments without any context or explanation as to when it was produced. This damages the corporate reputation of our company. WWE is well within its rights to protect its intellectual property for fair use.

You siphon the edginess out of the WWE and you have just about everything that sucks about America. And she wants to bring that crap to Congress?

The best WWE is still not as good as the best Crockett, World Class, or All Japan.

How ironic that they want to distance themselves from the Attitude Era right before the most hyped WWE video game of all time, WWE 13, a game thats focused on the Attitude Era, is set to be released. Brilliant way to market your game Vince.

At what point do they realize that getting rid of all their edgy content is losing them money hand over fist??? McMahon himself is worth $500 million less than he was at the height of the Attitude Era. Does he have to be on the verge of collapse like he was during the first PG Era before he goes back to giving wrestling fans what they want to see?

Best thing that could happen is Linda wins... He has to keep this shit up and the fans just go away.

Romney has a better shot in hell in winning than she does.

It's getting completely ridiculous now.
Every time WWE tries to do something outside wrestling it fails. Senate campaigns and movies included. I completely grasped the point of certain changes to programming that made it PG, but to go further down the path to PG or only G is suicide. Wanting the kids is one thing, but completely isolating any teens or adults from your product is stupid. Who do you think PAYS for the kids merch?

If they remove the content from Netflix next I might have a heart attack too. Re watching old WWE is all that's keeping me going.

WWE trying so hard to act like the past never happened.. I checked Youtube and WWE really did remove a metric shit ton of content. Almost all the good shit is gone. Two great examples were used in this attack ad. The Edge/Lita live sex and Katie Vick.

An ad posted by Connecticut Democrats on Monday morning showcasing World Wrestling Entertainment footage filmed under the tenure of former WWE CEO Linda McMahon, who is now running for U.S. Senate as a Republican candidate, was taken down within hours.

The video, posted by the state Democratic Party, is the latest WWE footage to be removed in recent days as the entertainment company takes down material which it says "has been misused in political environments" and seeks to transition into a "more family-friendly" brand. The material, posted by the Connecticut Democratic Party this morning, included scenes of violence and wrestlers engaged in sex acts, including a wrestler having sex with a corpse. McMahon is running against Rep. Chris Murphy (D) for the seat of retiring Sen. Joe Lieberman (I).
