Trying to help an acquaintance set up a pop3 email on his iPhone. I'm an Android fan myself, so I'm stumbling through a bit.

The standard email set-up doesn't seem to be working, so I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with a downloadable app that might even be quicker & easier than the standard email set-up?

Any suggestions?

No, it's a professional @MyBusiness.com type of address.

Not that complicated. Read instructions. Or ask your nephew.

iPhone apps are not allowed to change the settings of the phone itself. And while that might be a pain in the ass sometimes, overall that's a very good thing.

You'll just have to know all the settings: you'll need incoming and outgoing server names, ports, whether or not it uses SSL, all that. But if it's a standard POP account, it should be fine.
