Listening to Merril Reese rip the replacement refs in the Eagles game during the 4th quarter was just brilliant. At one point the ref called a penalty but couldnt find his flag, so he threw a bean bag. Then they announced the wrong yardage for the penalty so they had to move the yard of scrimmage twice. This was all within 30 seconds. He had me ROLLING.

Their defense is playing awesome, creating turnovers (4 takeaways first game, 3 today) and they are winning despite turning over the ball at ridiculous rates. If they can ever stop turning the ball over they are going to be incredibly tough to beat. They were going up and down the field all day on the Ravens (486 total yards). The only thing stopping them from two blowouts victories was themselves.

Also, it took them about 20 minutes to figure out a holding penalty during the Eagles game. They are getting more atrocuious each week.

i was tryin to figure out why in the fuck he threw the hat. I saw only this gif thats in this thread, but it doesnt appear anyone went near running out of bounds and then coming back in. Which is when you would throw your hat (and by throw, you are basically supposed to drop it on the ground OUT OF BOUNDS)

its not even the calls really. fine whatever, they made some shitty calls, if its consistantly shitty its ok. Its the fact that it takes these assholes like 4 min to figure it out EVERY FUCKIN TIME. I saw them have a fuckin conference today to call a goddamn false start. the games are taking FOREVER

This is the only time that it's good that people only see stuff against their own team. Everyone is screaming like the refs are fucking their team, when they're just overall terrible. The NFL has to make a deal quick. It has to happen.

i missed this post today. though I agree revis tackles like a pussy, NO ONE IN HISTORY was more averse to contact than fuckin Deion Sanders. if iw as a coach i woulda ran a power sweep to his side every fuckin play.

Though, I will give you some credit. ANYTIME someone brings up Steve Atwater, it makes the post better. When I played SS in HS i was like 205 at 5'8 and mostly i was used as a 4th LB on first and 2nd down and all i tried to do was crush people because I wanted to be like steve atwater

they said on the game that if the ball goes above the upright its not reviewable but if its below the top of it they can review. Which is the dumbest shit ever. But regardless, it didnt even look like it went over the upright. It looked like it was at least a foot wide

If it doesn't go over the top then there's something concrete they can examine. If it goes over it's all camera angles and shit. Maybe if they installed lasers or something coming out of the top of the goalposts?

thats a great idea actually. You can get some shitty laser pointer and stick it in the top of the upright and if the ball goes over you would see it light up on the ball. That would be incredibly cheap and easy.
