I don't get why anyone is shocked that he passed. He died pretty much the same way Patrice did... (stroke vs. heart attack, but both pretty much debilitated both of them to the point where they weren't there anymore) if you read between the lines and how silent the press and family was about what was going on...it wasn't good.

I had no idea he had a heart attack recently. He also seemed to be in good shape - no where near as obese Patrice was. That's why I was shocked.

I remember hearing about the heart attack but not that he was still in hospital and still having issues

I remember hearing about the heart attack... but a month ago, there was a minor news story about how he was being moved to a different hospital with a soundbite from Omarosa. That's when I realized how bad it was because you don't spend weeks and weeks in the hospital for a heart attack.

And just because you're not obese doesn't mean you don't have a bad heart - Letterman is thin and he had to get a quadruple bypass, remember?

Yea, I remember. I just didn't know he was in the same condition Patrice was in.


He had just done a week of shows with Craig Fergeson and the Late Late Show in Scotland - I think it was just two months ago. He was very funny and having a great time.

What shocks me about this is Ving Rhames is actually a year younger than Duncan. Which means - shit, he was 35 when he was in Pulp Fiction.
