I'm going to be in the Asbury Park next week
Any restaurant recommendations?

The only place I've been to is McLoone's and I thought it was just OK. Probably overpriced for what you get too.
If you've never been to Asbury Park lately - just be prepared for a lot of the gays. A whole lot o' gays. Not that there's anything wrong with that. But it's quickly turning into San Francisco - East
I was there recently and walking the boardwalk thought that Fez should be vacationing here.
By the way - I was there with my family - my two kids and my wife who I enjoy having heterosexual sex with on a regular basis.

Oddly enough it's gotten a lot nicer there.

Oh, I'm not judging. And you're right, it is MUCH nicer. I just had a lot of explaining to do to my 10 year old daughter on the car trip home about some of the "things" she saw. I would have no problem going back and hanging out with friends there. I'm just saying it's not going to be my first choice of boardwalks to take my kids to again.

I understand that.

And just to clear things up lest people think I'm being anti-gay:
I've been to public places where some white trash (or other ethnicities) hetero couple has been going at it pretty hot and heavy in plain sight of my kids and other kids. That's pretty low class behavior in general and particularly bad when little kids are present. While I'll mind my own business in general, don't put it past me to say something if my kids are present.
However, I'll admit that I was reluctant to say anything to a gay couple for fear of being branded a homophobe. Instead, I loaded the kids in the car and got the hell out of Dodge. Which is wrong, because while I wish they could get equal rights - they shouldn't be afforded special rights.
Anyway, sorry for hijacking this thread with my constant gay talk. I feel like Fez over here.
Just . . . hav . . . ing . . . a bad . . . day.

It's all good budday. You didn't come out as being anti-gay. You just don't want to see vivid acts of affection in public, especially when kids are around. I get it.
Of course, if you had just asked me stop I would've.
