View Full Version : Should HHH have returned?

I was eagerly awaiting the return of HHH as much as the next guy.....then I saw him wrestle.
He just moves soooooo slow now. I know he's still coming back from his injury, and I know he's bulked up so much, but he's sluggish and his offense shows it. The match he had on Smackdown with Angle / Jericho last night was painful to watch. Angle & Jericho tried their best to work with HHH, but it just wasn't working.
Has anyone else noticed this? I mean, I know he's going to have ring rust from being out for so long, but I hope he picks up his game before the PPV.

Honestly... I only saw ring rust at the Royal Rumble.
He was slow and didn't have much endurance.
I haven't felt the same way since the Rumble... I am very happy he returned and I think his move list will only grow and once he gaters some more agility.. he'll be that damn good once again.

Triple H rocks, and while there was some rust at first, I feel he is pretty much back to his old self.
IT'S TIME TO PLAY THE GAME-AHHH!

C'mon! Did you watch Smackdown last night?
I know I'm not crazy. He moved like a turtle last night. He's slower, I tell you.

Sadly enough, I don't watch anything that is tapped, I just read it on tuesday night when the spoilers come out. As for Triple H being slower, I'm sorry, but I don't really see it.

I watched smack down on mute
and was on the phone so I
really wasn;t watching but
someone that big is of course
not going to be the quickest
guy in the world. People are
just bitter. Enjoy HHH
because he is one of the
best..... One guy who did move
extreamly slower after his
surgery was Rey Mysterio Jr.
and no one complained.

After 8 months, of course he might look slow to some people, but me personally, I still think he is wrestling in the same pace he always wrestle.
Remember, when the NWO hit the ring and wrestle, nobody is gonna complain about HHH speed when those three try to keep up with everyone else.

I only brought this up because I was watching some old tapes of Hunter from early 2001 (before his injury), and then I saw that Smackdown match, and I swear to God, I clearly see how slow he's moving compared to the pace he used to have.
I know he's still recovering from his injury, but I'm telling you I see a slow down. And it was visible to me that Angle / Jericho actually slowed down *their* offense to keep up with HHH.

Your quad muscle tearing away from the bone would slow an elephant.
The man shouldnt even be walking without braces and now he's back wrestling after 9 months. I say give him time. He's trying a few new moves and has added the huge upper body strength to make up for his lacking leg strength.
Any normal man would be crying in the subways, begging for change while telling stories of being a WWF champion.
