My friend Frank (who's played with us at the softball games) works there during the weekend. Unbelievable that in the 70's and 80's that was just an infested rathole back in the day. But the view can't beat it.


I thought this thread was gonna be about worst/bad hotels and vacation spots.

Fleet week + friends + celebration + drinks + crazy view and room = awesome


I have some others from Punta Cana, Cabo and Cali, but for now it's tall ships, large drinks and views from the GW to the Statue of Liberty with sun and breeze!

Wife and I went to Parrot Cay in Turks & Caicos for our honeymoon, very expensive but just unbelievably well done. Very few people there and the entire island is built around the idea of being private.
