Avid texters beware: Fort Lee, N.J. police said they will begin issuing $85 jaywalking tickets to pedestrians who are caught texting while walking.

Theres no way I would ever pay that fine. Honestly, I doubt any cops are giving it out. They arent gonna want to deal with this bullshit. The cops around here refuse to pull people over for talking on their cell phones because they think its bullshit.

I dont know if the town even gives a fuck. For anyone who didnt figure it out by my driving joke earlier in the thread, the town is majorly asian. Like, probably 75% asian. i think the cops prob give out these cell phone tickets to make up for all the driving ones they missed
