Never played a game in this series before... Never really interested. However, being a revolutionary war buff... Native American and seeing that you get a special Mayan single player mission if you pre-order from Gamestop...

I have never played an Assassin's Creed game because every time they show gameplay, to me it seemed to be nothing more than running, climbing, jumping and sneaking up on people to stab them. That seemed like the whole game from what they showed.

That said, even though this trailer showed prettty much the same thing (minus sneaking up from behind), there must be something to this if they are on their 3rd game and I love where they have taken it. This time period, the location and some of the historical figures you will encounter has me very interested.

The AC games are great. It is not just run around and kill people..their is a little more to it..but most games are like that. You do one basic thing but you do side stuff as well. That is what you do in AC.

I love these games..if you want to get a taste and have a PS3 pick up Revelations and it comes with a free copy of AC I.

The back story is very cool and the whole idea that the game is connected to the end of the world with the Mayan calendar.

If you liked Batman Arkham City you will enjoy this game.

Now I have to figure out if I should cancel my pre-order because you get free shit if you pre-order now...decisions decisions.

I have only one complaint about an otherwise pretty great game.

THE FUCKING CINEMATICS MAKE ME WANNA' STAB MYSELF IN THE FACE.

There are way, way too many. Needless cinematics where there should be game play. Cinematic scene, you walk 20 feet, another cinematic scene. The actual game play is great. The ledger stuff is interesting but I really don't care for it.

Overall it's a fun game. I read up on the story so I knew what was going on. The ending is kinda' shitty but what else could they do when having to keep making these games?

Hey Hey...I am not done yet..so don't give away anything about the ending.

Yes their is a lot of CINEMATICS ..and I never read so much in a video game before in my life.

The beginning was ok..I was starting to get disappointed but then after sequence 3...WOW.

I am liking it...the story is pretty much explained in the opening video.

Only complaint, in previous games it had the control icon up in the right corner..as a always reminder..now they are gone. Also with some of the fights..I get stuck behind a object and I can not even see myself.

But I am enjoying.

Wonder how they are going to do the movie????

To me, AC2 was the best. Ezio was amazing, and more interesting. Connor seems whiney. I thought I'd love the whole Revolutionary period. But it's only ok. Also, game is glitchy as fuck! I followed Sam Adams somewhere, and when we got to the point we needed to get to, he stopped moving, but didn't stop near where we needed to be. I had to sorta run into him a few times to get him to move again.


Also, they're making an AC movie! Michael Fassbender has been signed to star and produce. I like it, as he is a good actor. Video game movies don't tend to do well though.

I agree. I think I'm going to trade it in for Dishonored.

I picked this up yesterday and like it a lot. Yes there are a lot of cut scenes but A. The storyline is actually really good and engaging, and B. except for sequence 1 the cut scenes don't dominate the game to the point you feel like you're watching a movie more than actually playing the game (COD). I was mildly annoyed when I first started but just after sequence 2 gets going you're more so left to your own devices and playing the game a hell of a lot more than watching cut scenes. Dig the story line a lot. The voice acting is great and having no problems w/ the controls.

game gets much better the more you play it...cut scenes are low and the story so far is very good. I also like the hunting..I am having fun with killing animals.

Only up to seq 9...but doing all the side stuff. Also the navel missions are good too...just upgrade the boat, it will make life much easier.

AC3 not as good as AC1 or AC2 but damn close.
