You're probably feeling the effects of doxylamine succinate, which is the hypnotic that gives nighttime medicines their sleep-inducing effects. I've stayed awake after a large dose before, and it sucked. Straight dextro in like Vicks 44 Cough is way better.

Yesterday and today, I have watched Survivors (BBC) and Surface in their entirety, and started watching Jericho. It's been quite a hallucinatory apocalyptic experience.
