Every day of my life until I was 17, my mom would come into my room at 7am, throw open the curtains and sing, "Rise and shine! Shine your eyes!"
I didn't appreciate it at the time, but she was actually pretty damn funny.

I had 3 very different wake ups
1. Mom--- "GOOD Morning, Merry Sunshine, What makes your sun shine so bright. Later on in life it became" Hey you As@#^&#!, Get up."
2 Dad---- Gave no warning, he just came in and pulled you out of bed by the foot.
3 My hispanic neighbors--- Every sunday morning around 8 am , they would be out cleaning their cars with their radios blarring, getting ready for church. Then it would become a low-rider parade as they toured the neighborhood blasting salsa music and pounding on those horns that played a song when pressed. Not my favorite way to wake up lol.

"You couldnt hear a dumptruck driving through a nitroglyerine plant!!!"
I was laughing my ass off when Ronnie was talking about sleeping. He doesn't have anything on me. My BF wakes up very early, and he has 6 alarms all together, and I don't ever hear ANY of them. It takes him forever to wake me up, and the only way I get up, is if he totally pisses me off, like tickle my feet, or or poking me. I will not get up any other way, He has to watch me too, because when he isn't looking I will walk right back into the bedroom and go back to sleep. Without even realizing I am doing it. I feel so bad for him!!

My freaking landladys kid is nice enough to give me a wake up call at 8AM on Saturdays by running around and jumping up and down so it sounds like a fucking train above my bedroom. If its not the little rug rat running around, its her other son either playing a number on his drums or his Sax, both in which he cant play for shit!

I occasionally get awakened by the sound of clams being dropped by seagulls on the dock outside. Sometimes when there's a lot of ducks or gulls outside, it sounds like a cocktail party going on right outside your window.

My parents would yell from there room to "Get up!!!"...If i didn't respond my Dad would quietly walk in my room and rip the covers off.

When I was a teenager used to sleep REAL late on the weekends. For my dad, sleeping late was getting up at 7am! So starting around 8 am, my dad would knock on my bedroom wall from the hallway-- right where my head was. It wasn't even loud; it was more of a quietly annoying tap! I used to just hit the wall back.
Sometimes he'd throw the cat on my bed.
