I always enjoyed Burger King. For awhile they were my favorite fast food establishment. This is why I'm saddened by the turn they've made. The new fries suck, the new chicken tenders suck, though the rodeo burger is pretty great (I forget what it's actually called).

Just felt I should vent.

the new fries are 1000000x better then they were before and the chefs choice burger is awesome. they need to remove whatever the coating is on the fires because that part sucks but they had that on their old fries too which is why i stopped getting fries a BK.

The fries before now weren't as good as the ones before them, but I like them better than the new ones.

their original fires from years ago were good because they were almost mcdonalds fires. then they used the same cut of fries but added some bumpy coating which made them terrible and now the fatter ones are a little better and have less coating but still have some coating which sucks!

I agree. When they were trying to be Mcdonalds in the fry department it was better. And the new nuggets just aren't as good. I miss the crowns.

Odd thing is I haven't had fast food in awhile, but tonight I was craving BK and I realized that I was craving something that isn't there anymore.

The last time I was in BK, I saw the girl pulling patties from a plastic drawer / warmer thing.

I haven't been back since.

Five Guys is plenty fast for me. At least I can watch mine being made to order. Well worth a few extra minutes.

next time i take a road trip and we go that far south i want to try krystals. they have some different items on their menu that sound tasty.

Was going to add Checkers/Rally's as fries that won't go soggy they got some spice deal on them. I like um found them in frozen food section also.

Yes, and I honestly can't imagine anyone who has a choice, choosing Krystal's over White Castle.

It's similar, but it's just not the same. I'm guessing they stay in business up there because, like Snacks said, they might have novelty stuff on their menu that WC doesn't have, or maybe they have just enough people up there that grew up on Krystals and just don't realize that there's a difference.
