The "Working Class People and Beach Houses" one on the shoreline should be renamed "Israel".

what's up with the ghetto in the woods?

its basically what it says. Its like a poor minority section like up north, except they left it rural and woodsy, they didnt build it up like a city

it's where the ac peeps migrated to "find a better life", only to commute to ac and work for shit wages in the casinos

makes sense with it being on the AC expressway corridor. i've only been down that way once, and it was dark, and i was drunk, so i wasn't really paying attention.

Why do Canadians go so far south in Jersey?

Where does everyone from the board come from?

That's a good question. I think it's the farthest South they will go along the coast where the water is warmer for a longer period of time than say, Maine. They can make the trip in a day, whereas any further would require two days. I'm from Philly and would go to the South Jersey shore every summer and always saw a lot of Canadian licence plates.

That's only Deal and Lakewood. It's pretty accurate for the rest of the area, IMHO.

sadly, NJ is prob putting as much talent into CFB as alabama the state does now. Bama gets most of its kids from real states, like florida and texas

Not to derail, but this lil' ol' state still claims the last two MNC's, and the vast majority of the players on AU and UA's rosters are home grown.

I was bored at lunch, so here's how their current rosters break down by state:

State - AU - UA
- AL - 52 - 53
- GA - 18 - 14
- FL - 11 - 08
- TN - 03 - 09
- LA - 06 - 04
- MS - 05 - 03
- AR - 03 - 00
- TX - 02 - 04
- AZ - 01 - 00
- DE - 01 - 00
- IL - 01 - 00
- MO - 01 - 00
- MT - 01 - 00
- NC - 01 - 00
- SC - 01 - 02
- VA - 01 - 01
- MD - 00 - 02
- OH - 00 - 02
- CA - 00 - 01
- AUS - 00 - 01

And actually Rutgers currently has more players out of Florida on their roster than either bama or Auburn. Rutgers roster:

NJ - 48
FL - 14
NY - 11
PA - 9
MD - 6
DE - 4
CT - 2
VA - 2
CA - 1
IA - 1
NC - 1
SC - 1
ONT - 1

i didnt say anything about bama the team. I just mean, most of the high end talent you actually hear about, i dont see as much from bama as i do NJ anymore, especially with Bosco somehow becoming a fuckin powerhouse over here.

And of course rutgers pulls a ton of kids from Florida, they arent stupid. they do wanna win

ozzie

Not sure about the "high end talent", but after last year's signing day, Rivals put out a chart of which states the D-1A signees came from.

Texas put out the most, but if you compare it to how many kids play HS football in that state, it wasn't nearly as impressive:

http://img829.imageshack.us/img829/4353/2011d1asignees.jpg

And when you look at the number compared to the population... it's easy to see why the SEC has been dominating in recent years.

1. Louisiana
2. Florida
3. Alabama
4. Georgia
5. Mississippi

Again, didn't mean to derail, and it wasn't meant as a knock on NJ HS football.

I just know that this state is obsessed with HS and College football, and seeing that someone from NJ was claiming an area as "PRETTY MUCH ALABAMA", I was just kidding that it should be a hot bed for CFB recruits.
