Silver is pretty high right now. It might be worth getting out the spare change bucket and a magnifying glass.

When I tended bar, I used to get a shitload of coins like this. Once every month or so, some pathetic drunk would show up with all of the coins they (or someone they knew) had been saving for years, just so they could get a couple of draft beers.
Of course, at some point, I got desperate enough for beer and cigs, that I spent the ones I collected from the other losers. I do have one 1964 quarter. I like the way they sound when you bounce them.

I remember years ago some numismatist company offered free morgan dollars for requesting their portfolio. It looks like that's not going happen again.

pretty insane if you think about it
and I have a TON of these from my dad's brother who always gave us coins for our bday
both my sisters were always polite about it, but of course it's not a normal gift and I easily traded some candy or a few paper route bucks for the coins and my collection is now pretty big
now i just have to go home and FIND THEM! I'm sure my bastard sisters took them all back once I went to college and bought la gear sneaks

Where would you trade in these coins for this value?

You can probably do pretty well on ebay. Less so if you took it to a coin shop or something.

I wouldn't see much point in selling them individually. It's unlikely that you'll find anything that has value beyond the silver content. Bottom line is if you have a couple bucks worth of silver coins, you could pretty easily turn them into 40 bucks in paper.
Or just take them to Coinstar if its not worth the hassle.
