I enjoyed the first one, despite the gay flirting between Jude Law and Robert Downey the whole time.

I really liked the first one too. Guy Ritchie is a great director and Downey and Law are perfect in these roles. hyped for this.

This movie was a total misfire.
The plot was needlessly elaborate... and totally impossible to truly follow. At no point does the audience know who is doing what and why. There's a million locales and a million (admittedly, amazing!) fight scenes... but there is precious little detective work. The narrative, however, is absent.

HAVING SAID THAT, the movie ends quite well. The finale and the moments that follow are fantastic.

I could tell that the crowd was bored and confused ... but then totally engrossed as it wrapped up.

I give it a solid "D".

I'm sure they left it open to continue the franchise right?

the first one I just happened to catch on HBO and was pleasantly surprised, but I had my suspicions this one would not only be trivial, but their back and forth would be much more forced to "keep it alive". hell, I haven't seen it just yet, but the egg instructions in the ad is pathetic compared to what they did in ep 1.

I'll be seeing this on HBO as well I'm sure.
