I listen to the show. Not as much as I'd like. I have a day job. But in the few opportunities I get to call in and give my 2 brilliant cents I get past the call screener and then wait. Ok. I get it. The boys are big time now. International. No more parochial broadcasting to northern Va, DC, and Md where you could call in and get on immediately. Those were the days. But here's the rub: I hear the douche bags that get on the air; dumb, idiotic, and bring nothing to the table. One I heard the other day admitted he had called in earlier in the show the same day, and his comments were vacuous nonsense.
Yet everytime I call, does Ron see "Joe from DC" or possibly have a caller ID list of callers he does not like? Because if it's based on merit, he may be back on dope based on who us getting on and who isn't.
Am I pissed? fucking A. In my view my shit is 10 times better than some hayseed from nowheresville.
So I ask you: Ron and Fez nation, (i hate that "nation" thing-"redskin nation"-"giant nation"- fuck you), does Ronnie B ban certain callers or areas? If so, fuck you too Ronnie B. If not, wake the fuck up and see caller gold (me), when see it.

I've called in. Sometimes I get on in 30 seconds, sometimes I wait a few minutes, sometimes I don't get on at all. It's just the flow of the show. I wouldn't take it personally.

Ron was a giant to me, the one and only time I called in, he not only listened, he made a thoughtful articulate response, and went on to ask me a couple related questions.

He treated me just like a guest.

I love the way he shits on stupid callers without even wasting more than a couple words.

I don't think they know me. I called a lot when they were in DC. I suggested "right black at ya" for Earl's opening. But the only blip was when I went on an insane arc about not posting anymore on this site, then mrs ROCKVILLEJOE intervening and a lot of nonsensical bullshit. To the point where Ron mentioned "who the hell is this Joe irokville ". That freaked me out as I didn't like the idea of actually stepping into this "movie". I like to anonymously sit in the safety of the audience and throw jujube"s at the actors onstage. And I did bust ESD's balls as I thought he was doing a power play on Fez. Obviously now its understandable that ESD was just trying to make the show better. I just got paranoid since I am about 0 for 5 getting on lately. It's been a tough time lately, losing both my parents and a divorce in the past 18 months. I guess I'm just paranoid.

Well, let me say, I did get on. A week ago when the boys were doing a comedy pyramid (that was not called a comedy pyramid), regarding the death of momar

Tonight is my 9th anniversary listening to the boys. Back them, they were on wjfk.

It's not luck or prejudice or anything else. Ron is very content-oriented. Period.
I've contributed dozens of things to the show over the years via AIM (RIP), email, phone, studio, and all that shit. He never says my name on the air... nor do I want him to. (He does occasionally reply to my emails. Very often in 10 words or less).
When I send him a link or an article or a tidbit or whatever... he simply works it into the broadcast. I think Ron can sense if a person is a friend of the show, or if a person is TRYING to be a friend of the show.

My point is, if somebody is trying to "get on the air", Ron's not interested. If somebody trying to interact with him, or enlighten him, or basically just share.... he's interested.
