yea.....I know most ppl don't even play the single player campaign anymore, but I'm old school and think that the campaign is still where most of these games really shine if they're any good.

I also like the single player campaign, the multiplayer get's very repetitive very quickly especially with Call Of Duty games.

Really? How much do you play? I have 150+ hours and don't think so. I cant see how one would like the campaign over multi. with the campaign you have AI which is repetitive, multi you actually have humans to play against (different ones), which i really think makes it the least repetitive. Not to mention the different guns/load outs/ game types.

It's just reminded me how much I love Call Of Duty.

The campaign is good. I like the chance to pilot the different vehicles. The multiplayer though, is just.... Eh. Haven't had the chance to use vehicles in mp yet but it just doesn't feel as good as cod does. The maps are gigantic though.

The story is OK, some set pieces are phenomenal but it's absolute torture to play. Some places that look like cover aren't, squad mates will bump you out of cover into the line of fire and it's so hard in a bad way that I struggles t finish. It's bad hard in the sense that it's not challenging, you just feel like you have to pay around awful design.

But I haven't had this much fun playing multiplayer in a long time. There's no overwhelming perks that completely ruin the game, everything is balanced nicely, the vehicles add a lot tactically and Rush in particular is very fun. It initially seems overwhelming but is surprisingly easy to catch on to.

Did you play black ops? It was so balanced, most people didnt play it.

went to the midnight release to pick up my sister's copy. there was quite the line, but at least we had a dj spinning to help pass the time. the gamestop employees were handing out snacks like cookies etc for the people waiting on line. they had some green bracelet thing going on, but im not sure what that was supposed to be about. those who bought the elite versions seem to have gotten face paint and a snazzy CoD MW3 Elite tee shirt. i didnt actually get my hands on our copy until about 1am. after that i went straight to bed, and i hope to get a little play time in when i get home from work (if my sister manages to take her paws off the game for 5 mintues :o)

Decided to buy this and BF3 last night..

Campaign is great so far.. But these assholes still didn't give the game proper Eyefinity/3D Vision support. No in game option for Aspect ratio. You gotta go digging in cfg files again I assume or wait for WideScreen Fixer to add MW3 and with VAC I'm not fucking with cfg files and outside apps and risking getting banned.. BF3 displays widescreen resolutions properly..

Does it really matter? I love how the guy in the video comes up with one example of a building being re-used from a game 5 years ago and says "it shows how often they recycle buildings". One occurrence is hardly "often". Even if there are more examples, i don't see how it makes a difference.

I want marathon with mt Sleight of Hand. There were some other examples too but cant think of anything.

I do use the specialist package once in a while too though, you get an extra 50xp per kill when you get all your perks.

I joined recently after hearing friends make it sound awesome. They made good points when they brought up paying 60 bucks for a new game as opposed to buying it from GF used for 40 something, and the last few sports titles ive bought have been a let down...after i joined i realized EA sports makes u put in that dumb online code. So far im regretting joining. I did get Rage quickly when it came out.

i started the campaign last week. it seems good so far (to me). you definately cant say you werent warned about any offending material as they made you confirm it twice before you started. this game made me realize i have a touch of 9/11 ptsd. watching the missles fly into those skyscrapers in the opening sequence bothered me more than i realized. that being said, its good. not great. i liked the CoD4 campaign better and was more absorbed in it. maybe its because im more into the alt history of the cold war/cuban missle crisis rather than this new take on russia.

as i progress, i will continue to give my unsolicited opinion. :o

The first quarter was alright, just the rest I felt like I was replaying the same crap over and over again. The actual ending sequence was just lame. I clocked in at 4hrs 59m to finish the campaign.

Side note it looks like most of the elite stuff is working now. They're still having a problem loading your recent games.

The only map that I think is good for sniping is the one with the helicopter in the middle. I think it is call Bakaara.
