I've always like downloading programs from them, because I knew I could trust them. Now they have this new download bullshit thing that you have to go through? I don't trust it. It showed me at least one thing (two, I think) that wanted to run on my comp, that weren't part of the program I was trying to download. :furious:

Give http://majorgeeks.com/ a try. Kind of clunky to browse, but in my experience they are bullshit free.

I've gotten stuff from them before with no problem. But I agree with the clunkiness.

Forgetting about this whole bullshit thing Download.com has started, I just tried to download Firefox 6 from them. As soon as I hit "download", Avast identified their stupid download program as a virus threat.
