[Gutter]

Rage will be released on October 4th 2011. Its a first person shooter set in the 2030's in a post apocalyptic wasteland. Rage will feature huge areas, varied enemies, customizable weapons, deployable sentry bots, dune buggy racing elements and RPG style inventory system.

Multiplayer features two modes, one a racing game for six players called Combat Rally where racers collect rally points that are found on the race map and from killing your opponents. The other mode, Legends of the Wasteland, features two player online co-op missions based on stories you hear about during your time in the single player campaign.

hahaha yea, drunk gaming can be incredibly difficult. I've played Black Ops online shitfaced and its been a disaster more than it worked out haha.

I love shooters, They're my favorite type of game. I remember the rush I felt when I first played Wolfenstein. But has anything surpassed Half-Life? And that was released in 1998. Seems like we've reached a plateau here. These all seem the same anymore.

I thought BioShock brought a new twist to the genre....BioShock Infinite is introducing some gameplay I've never seen before. More recently, Bullet Storm had some interesting concepts and was visually different from just about anything I had played previously. The leashing mechanics and "kill with skill" components were fun and breathed some new life. I think Rage will have some elements that change things up a bit.......there are a number of extras that we haven't seen yet in terms of weapons, sentry bots, and melee kills, the racing component looks like a lot of fun and there are side missions in place as well. It's not simply a linear experience from what I understand. What was the last FPS you played through?
