New show on Syfy, Monday nights at 10pm.

Anyone catch the premiere last week?

I thought it was pretty good. A more gritty version of Heroes, but without the cartoonish origins plot. It just starts up as these humans have some special powers under certain circumstances and they work for the government.

I especially liked the kid, who I think has aspergers, that can "see" all electronic waves and can watch TV and monitor radio with flicks of this hands. I though it was done well and unique.

By the way, Syfy has a great Monday night line up now, with this show and Eureka and Warehouse 13. Three solid hours of good TV.

I watched it and liked it enough to give it another week or so. It seemed too long for the 1st eps but it does have potential. What I hated the most is what you seemed to like which was the guy with aspergers. He annoyed me most of the eps. But I did like the rest of the cast and have liked many of them from other things as well!

Eureka I tried to watch the entire series at the beginning of summer to catch up but I just couldnt get into it and stopped 3 eps in. Warehouse I heard good things about but never watched an eps yet. I do however really like Haven, I like the cast and started watching that only because I liked them from other shows and movies.

Its funny because I do not like syfy movies, books or tv shows. But I now watch 3 or 4 shows that are syfy. Alphas (not sold on it yet), Haven (great show), Misfits (A UK show that airs on hulu), and a show called Lost Girl (Canadian show that the syfy network just picked up). I guess you could even say True Blood is syfy too and I watch that as well.

How things change as we get older!

I agree that Haven is a good show too... but to be fair for Eureka, it has gotten much better after that first season. In fact this one has been excellent (it's season 4.5 that's on now). You could just watch season 4 and not worry about the previous seasons as it's a whole new story arc.

really? I never liked to jump into a series mid way or even missing the 1st season. Thats why I love hulu it allows you to catch up. Maybe I will give it a try, I really wanted to like it but fell asleep every time I tried to watch it. The concept of all the great inventions come from this 1 town and backed by the govt is a great idea. BTW isnt that what Warehouse is about too?

Warehouse 13, which has also improved since its first season, is about recovering artifacts that are "cursed" or have some kind of sci-fi element to them. The cast is great and it also has a lot of laugh out loud moments. It's a kind of historical X-Files (sans aliens).

I have seen previews while watching Haven and it looks like a good cast. Shockingly my mother who hates sci-fi loves that show and Haven as well. She got a new dvr so I had to go and program it for her when she wanted Haven and Warehouse I was shocked. I guess with technology sci-fi can look more real which makes it work better, at least for me?

I liked it well enough, I'll probably enjoy it more as the show goes on.

I must admit I hated Gary the computer genius with autism at first but he has become the comic relief and best character on the show.

Good on you Syfy. This has become my favorite new show of the season. So far.

it seems like the non network shows get a lil more time to develop an audience before plug is pulled

glad to see

Really good season finale. Complete with a massacre and unveiling of the main villain.

It was too bad Gary's pseudo-girlfriend-Red Flag-badguy-Natalie Portman Look-A-Like was killed off. I thought she made a great nemesis to the team, while trying to stay connected with Gary.
