That was really good. I dont mind internet promos if they can speak freely without being edited, as shown by him using the word bullshit. However I think this only applies to The Rock that admits he doesnt work for Vince McMahon anymore.

I agree. However, I think with the recent "work" angles with CM Punk and R-Truth to a lesser degree, I think the WWE will start "shooting" more in social networking circles as to enhance said product. side note, I think they were trying to push R-Truth into that recent "punk-shoot" angle .. but he failed and it came off comedic.

Cena actually tweeted "I wonder if GLAAD will have a problem with The Rocks promo". Was that because of the transvestive WonderWoman comment? If so, its like I said, The Rock can say what he wants, and obviously Cena is bound by the corporate restraints of the WWE, which I think are bullshit and apparently so do some of the wrestlers.

Could have been....along with the "John Cena, while you were running around college askin, whos yum-yum rocket is in my mouth...."

Cena's response in full:

Just saw Dwayne's statement," Cena wrote. "Via satellite of course. Sad, really. It was like an episode of Mad Money.
"I wonder if GLAAD will be offended by Dwayne's comments. Either way, looks like I have really made him mad. But certainly not mad enough to show up and do anything. Maybe he can send a stuntman.

"Dwayne, I am a WWE employee, and a proud one. The difference between us is you left for greener pastures. For me, this is what I love. I never begged for anyone's admiration or acceptance, you don't believe me...watch (Money in the Bank). It's not about that. It's about showing up.

"I'd rather wrestle a thousand 'punks' than one 'rock.' Because I can see his passion. Wish I could see yours...yer just never there. Until April 1st. Keep on bringing it, my man. You're doing great. Your friend, John Cena." Follow Cena on Twitter at Twitter.com/JohnCena.

I agree with the Rock. The whole " I show up" stuff is getting old. So does everyone else in the company John. It reminds me of the chris rock bit, Why people make a big deal about doing things they are SUPPOSED to do.

Actually neither of them are WWE employees, they're both independent contractors.

Hasn't the Rock played several gay characters in his movie career?

In the sequel of Get Shorty he played a guy guy and did it very well and I doubt he offended anyone in that role

The difference is Cena is contractually obligated to show up every week, where The Rock makes appearance fees. If Cena says something on Twitter the WWE doesnt like, they could fire him. They wouldnt of course, but they could. He is considered a WWE employee just like CM Punk. When GLAAD demanded action be taken against Punk, the WWE responded by saying as of July 18th, he will no longer be a WWE employee.

Its ridiculous really. Thats the ONLY thing Cena has. Even though The Rock has put in close to the same amount of time Cena has. The difference is The Rock made Vince a whole hell of alot more money when he was there.
