I tried findinhg an existing thread for this show but didn't see one.

I've only watched a few episodes but this doesn't seem to be too bad of a show.

Apart from the theme being almost a semi-The Shield and/or an LA based NYPD Blue and the cast including some real jackasses ( fuckin' Regina King doing her 1 bit as the tough, take me serious black woman and that clown that was in the original 90210 that took the steroids ).

Has anybody watched the whole thing so far ?

Is the rest of the show good enough to block out the negatives I perceive ?

I really like the show. It is definitely on my watch list and I am up to date and waiting for next season.

I like that they do some real life type crimes instead of the crazy shit you see on something like csi. I am also a sucker for any type of guy struggling with a drug problem intertwined in shows.

I also can't stand the black chick. Her bit does get extremely old.

Even her partner is annoying. I don't need one " uppity " black female character nevermind 2.

I'll have to watch when they start showing them from the beginning and follow along.
