Wrote book no one will ever buy

I recently wrote a book. I'm going to stay vague because I'm not out here trying to get people to buy it, no more or less just to vent. I went through a self publishing place because I have no idea how to distribute something on my own. THey said they would put it up on amazon.com for me. WOW !!! I thought this would be great since I enjoy writing short stories all the time. A few months after uloading my first short story, they did put it on amazon. What they didn't tell me was they listed it for $132. You can imagine the outrage I felt when my short story of less thattn 60 pages is now on amazon for that much. It's not gold plated or nothing, just plain old paperback. Lucky for me they have it on their website for $7.50 plus shipping, but who the hell ever goes there. Thanks for letting me vent. Look forward to reading the replies :)

if not then fuck them and put it up on amazon yourself, or ebay or craigslist etc

Just in case anyone is curious about my book, I got my first month sales report via email today. very disapointing. Sold 5 copies in US and 1 copy in Canada. Next one I'm doing is getting away from sex and music and I'll just write a book on christianity. See ya around :)

Thanks. I've called that thing hundreds of times and the one time I was so frustrated I didn't think about what I was saying is the one they used. Wish I could've gotten a plug in there. I'll be taking notes from Jimmy sor future reference
